On Sunday September 29th, 2024 tens of thousands gathered in Lakewood against the Chareidi draft in Israel. After an even larger event planned for Newark was cancelled due to the permits being denied for security reasons. The event would have combined the Chassidish and Litvish communities (see original Kol Koreh below). In lieu of the combined event, Litvish Rosh Yeshivas organized an atzeres tefillah just outside of BMG. In speakers included: the Lakewood Roshei Yeshiva, R’ Elya Ber Wachtfogel, R’ Yitzchok Sorotzkin, and The Novominsker Rebbe. R’ Shlomo Feivel Schustal and R’ Aharon Feldman of Ner Yisorel also attended.
